Re: Backing up a TI-86...?



To backup all the files in your TI-86.
Launch the Link86 software, connect the TI86 and turn it on.
On the PC:
Select Link
Select Receive
Select Add All
Check the To Group option (Note the 65000 limit)
Select OK
Select the target directory
Select OK
In the Save As dialog box rename the file to your choice
but be sure to leave it as .86g  I use bdate.86g
Select OK.

All the files on the TI-86 are then saved into this group
which you can send to the 86 when you need.
