I'm pretty sure it is a problem with your source.  That text was from TIs
www site.  It must be right.  Anyone disagree?  It has worked for me in the
beta EuP driver I'm currently working on (will be released soon for the 83,
and then the 82,85, and 86 in no particular order).  Maybe the way you used
it or the type of command you used wasn't correct.
