When accellerating your calc, It's very good practice to add a switch that
switches between the old one and the new one. Use the old one
whenever you can- it saves battery power. Use the old one per
definition when you turn your calc off. Also, some stuff depends
on your calc being in it's unaccelerated mode. One example that
I'm thinking of is the driver software for the SF expander. It won't
properly move data from/to the 1MB bubble mem unless your
calc runs at unaccelerated speed.
