The TI-86 cannot run TI-83 programs, and they cannot transfer any data over
the link cable.

Is it possible to hook an 83 to an 86 via a link cable? I tried it once,
and it didn't seem to work; just wondering if I'm doing anything wrong. I
couldn't get the 86 to go into Receive mode. Also, will an 86 run 83
programs?
