It seems to me that s significant portions of the posts here concern
getting the $4, $5, etc. cables to work.  I got the cable from TI, for
$40.00 the software from the TI web site, and it works no problem with
my 85, 85, and 92.  The TI cable was entirely hassle free for me.  In
view of the fact that my time is valuable, I can't see spending 5 or
so hours, perhaps more judging from posts here, to save 36 bucks, and
then deal with non standard software.


The price did seem high, but I figure that $40.00 is pretty cheap to
have a team of uniformed delivery specialists bring me something that
I pull out of the box, plug into my computer, and be ready to roll.
