She came up to me and said that her screen was too dark and she couldn't
see the graphs. I immediately lightened it using 2nd down arrow.


Screen lightened but I couldn't see any graphs. Went to Y= and the screen
was almost impossible to see. I darkened it. The equations became quite
clear.


Then went to Graph and again, the screen was pitch black.  Repeated the
process.  Nothing helped.


Finally figured it out. Can you?  (Not a battery problem!)


Hmm..sounds like a shaded area that covers the entire screen to me.... :-)
