I've Never made one of those $5 links, But isn't it possible to buy a stereo
socket that will fit the calc to calc plug?  If it is you could just wire
the socket into the parallel jack, plug the calc2calc cable into the parallel
jack, then the calculator, and it should work.  Right?  Mabye someone did this
before and could tell you if it works.
