Nope. That's the maximum floating-point. A little expermentation gives me
a MAXINT of 2^2040 - 1. I guess that leaves about 8 bits to play around
with for signs, infinities and maybe the O+ and O-, not to mention type
information.


I would hope the calc doesn't use 2048 (2K) to store each number, though
:) The 8 bit (1 byte) header info makes some sense.
