I honestly don't know.  My dad is thinking of getting a cable modem, but there
are some issues (you can only get one comp hooked up, and the whole
neighborhood shares the bandwidth, so as more and more people start using it,
the worse the performance.)  It also costs a lot more than, say, AOL or the
lower-priced ISPs
