Theoretically yes. You could boot from your old ROM module, load Fargo,
load a Fargo program that can write to the Flash ROM from the link port,
and if that program does not call any routines in ROM, and redirects all
interrupts so they don't go to ROM, then you can swap ROM modules while it
is running, and then initiate the ROM rewriting process...writing a Fargo
program capable of doing all this would be quite complex, of course.

Of course, if you limit yourself to rewriting your ROM using only the tools
TI will provide, it'll probably be pretty hard to go wrong. But what if the
link gets severed in the middle of a transfer? Well maybe TI will even
provide a solution for that. But maybe they won't.
