Actually, a power supply's not too bad... The modem shouldn't use more than
3-5V, and probably has a voltage dropper built in... AS LONG as it's not a
drop-down Transformer, a 9V (or 6 AA's) hooked up to the plug should do the
job. You could house all the electronics in your bag and put all the wires
in one tube running from the calc to the bag. Then, all you need is the calc
on your desk...
