LF: Bombardment v0.0001



I am releasing the first version of my Bombardment that is nearly 
half done.  It isn't anything wonderful, but I just wanted the people 
on this list to try playing it and see what you like and don't like 
about it so far.  This will help in the development because it is 
much easier to change things now than later.

Version 0.0001 includes the following features:
1.  Very good random landscapes
2.  Player 1 can fire a shot
3.  The angle and power of the shot is adjustable
4.  A sample animation of an explosion is demonstrated on tank 1 
every time after the shot is fired
5.  There are 3 different styles of tanks for player 1 that as of now 
are randomly picked by the computer (I am going to make it so the 
player can pick)
6.  The game does not seem to have any major flaws that cause it to 
crash

What I am plan to improve:
1.  Create a computer player
2.  Write a routine to display the angle and power of the shot in 
decimal form (instead of hexadecimal)
3.  Erase the angle and power before the shot is fired
4.  Allow the tank to be chosen
5.  Improve the interface for choosing angle and power
6.  Improve the gameplay-so you can fire more than once in a game
7.  Make the tanks explode when hit

Some other ideas:
1.  Rotating turrets on tanks
2.  Different bombs
3.  Grayscale
4.  Divots
5.  Falling dirt/tanks
6.  Money-buy weapons
7.  Customizable features.  Gravity, etc.

Gameplay:

Once in the game:
Up/Down-adjust angle (the left number)
Left/Right-adjust power (the right number)
Enter-fires the shot

Note: to exit from this point, you must shoot a bomb and then press a 
key

After a bomb has been fired:
Any key: exits game
