Well, that seemed like a promising idea. I followed it exactly, and while I
didn't crash my hard drive, it still didn't recognize the ROM file, doing the
same as it had been. Interestingly, though, I'd been trying different things,
and whenever I "added" the ROM file, it shrinked it to from 1.14 MB 0 bytes,
including the two times that I'd taken the advice above! It does it every
time, and still doesn't list it in the display. Maybe it recognizes that it
is a ROM file, but because it's not the right size (the readme states what
the size of the ROM should be), it doesn't believe it's the *right* ROM file,
just *a* ROM file.
Oh, well. I don't know what else I can do with vti, though I'm still working
on it, but it seems like more than a couple of people have the same problem.
Is there a new beta due from the creator anytime soon, or is this the final
deal? Is there another TI-89 emulator, or an older version of this one?
