I don't think you know what you are talking about. Either that or I don't
understand what you are saying. cout is an instance of class ostream, and
yes ostream contains all the facilities for handling all the different kinds
of variables and formatting stuff. But that was not the point I was making
at all. Maybe you should read my message again.
