To render 3d graphics the best, I would recommend having EXTENSIVE 
knowledge in Algebra, Geometry, and Calculus.  Matrices are very 
important.  Also, knowledge of 2-point perspective drawing is important.  I 
think you should know how to find the slopes of lines, and how the length 
of a line changes as it gets further away and depending on what angle it is 
at...
