no... just press "s" (works on my calc) or, like Johan wrote, pull out a
battery and put it in again

Here is a paste of the Archive Utility 1 documentation:
Use the Flashd.exe from TI and select the *.tib . Stop the communication
BEFORE 94%.
After this, the calc will reset and you'll see a TI screen asking you to
install
the product code...; Just press the "S" key and the system will reboot.
it's written somewhere else in the documentation that it only works with
boot 1.01
