You have to keep in mind that we aren't writing very much.
We would take the kernal that exists for the 68k and then write TI specific
drivers for it.  That shouldn't be too hard with our knowledge of our hardware.
I know some of the kernal would have to be modified.  THere have been some
changes already made to make it 68000 compatible, but then we could put some of
those features back in to use the TI math routines and such to make up for the
cut out stuff.
My understanding of Linux is that the kernal and the shell look the same on every
platform, with a standard prompt, but we could do a GUI.
I think we are going to have to look into external storage soon after we get
started though.
