That shouldn't happen.  The way an LCD works (correct me if I'm wrong) is that
each pixel in the LCD is either transparent or opaque, depending on the
current applied to it.  A small change in the current can change its state,
which results in a low power device, as opposed to LEDs, which require more
current.  However, unless the LCD is set up for it, it should not turn blue.
I'm not really sure what to make of it.   Perhaps someone with more
electronics knowledge can explain it.
