Thanks, Magnus - I was just asking Nick if this update could be added.

A few comments:

1.) You might want to add that your mailing list software - majordomo - does
not support HTML email (try checking the digest version of the A89 list).
Can you have the software check for any messages that have the
"Content=HTML/Text" or whatever string it is and reject them?

2.) Could you also add the following clause:

* When replying to a message, please only quote the relevant part of the
message. Do not include old signatures or lines of unimportant information
in the reply, as this is disruptive to recipients of the digest format.

I've received 11 digests today -- just because people quoted the ENTIRE
evolution debate many times over, thus generating several hundred kilobytes
of unnecessary text. All the relevant info could be reduced to 2 digests
for the day.

3.) How about an address we can contact to report offending posters?
Whenever I try and ask anyone to obey these guidelines - either in a polite
manner or in the most obnoxious way I can think of - I get a reply along the
lines of "screw you, I don't care about others. They can get my mail
software and receive the messages in the same format I do and spend hours
each day on the internet to read all my junk" (to paraphrase serial)

Thanks again, Magnus. . .
