The 89 is the only math tool you'll need for a very long time =P
I love the exact value answers, symbolic manipulation, 3D Graphing, and
whatnot =)

If you're looking for a calc for math, the 89 is a must.
I still like my 86 for it's spifty Z80 and the fact that I know assembly on
the 86 ;)
