They taught you Latin in English?  What, did they run out of English
to teach?  :-)  (Yes, I know the origin of English words is definitely
applicable, but sadly, it's not a part of any English curriculum I've
ever seen, and probably a waste of time in most cases anyway as
the information is simply trivia.)
