MBus - multi bus, a name Ozone came up w/ in ~1995 when he invented the
system for the ti-85. (anyone know what happened to his webpage?)

i2c - inter ic, a communications protocol Philips made up in the 80's.
allows for many chips to linked together by two wires (sdl,scl?) and each
chip have a unique id#. its really a great system, i suggest reading the
mbus text.

ozone's system allows for error checking, collision avoidance/checking, up
to ~100 calcs hot-plugged in, i could go on forever. i just wish i could
find his page.
