not quite.  the reason the calc thinks something is sending data is that
the speaker pulls the data line low (through ~8-16 ohms), which is the
signal used to indicate a bit is being sent. (or there's a line error)
true, you can sometimes use a speaker as a microphone, but the signal is
soooo tiny.  the calc has no way of seeing such minute variations without
extra circuitry.  not to mention that a simple speaker doesn't know the
ti-link protocol! :)
