A86: Re: Weird LCD problem, need help

Hmm, that's interesting. Obviously, either due to a bug in Bomber Bloke
(which totally rocks, btw! best game ever! link play rules!) or something
else, there is a grayscale interrupt handler still active. You say you
didn't drop the calc (so the display isn't damaged, right?), so that is the
only thing it could be. Taking out the lithium battery should reset it, but
I have had the calc retain the memory for a short while even with all five
batteries out (like when I first experienced the in-basic editor flag). So
pull all five, hold on for ten seconds, then put them back in. That should
fix anything. I've heard half an hour is sometimes needed due to a
capacitor or something, but that was on the 83. The last time I had to pull
all five batteries, I got mad at the calc and left it out for over and hour,
and I KNOW it completely reset.

If that doesn't work, then someone else dropped your calc :)
