What exactly is the purpose of that call?  Or more importantly, this
routine in Bill N.'s Zreduce

_dispop1a:
    ld      a,48
    call    _formReal
    ld      hl,_OP3
    call    _puts
    ret

what is the difference between this and _dispOP1?  Thanks in advance
