Do you mean the carry flag?  If that is the case, there are a couple of
ways.  First, just use it for a conditional jump (or return/call):

jr c,CarryFlagSet
jr nc,CarryFlagNotSet

If you want the value as 1 or zero, clear a and add with a carry to 0:

ld a,0		; can't be xor a, since that clears flags
addc a,0	; add the carry flag to 0
