ok....program A is the program that i posted...run that and then run program
B (which has some changing of allocated memory at the end). in program B do
something that would cause a change...like in a game get the hiscore. then
exit the program and go back in. whatever had changed in program B is now
reset back to the values that were in the program before you ran program A
