How were you trying to change it?  I found a call earlier today that puts that cursor to the home screen (either $5432 or $543a -- I don't remember).  It seems to be an immovable cursor...  You can't type anything with it on, you can only push enter and execute the last instruction.  It also crashes if you try to use the menus.
