yeah, speaking of the ROM, i determined i think the best way to add some menu
chars:
there's space for 14 7 byte menu chars in DELC buffer:
$8014 = char 242
...
$806F = char 255
anyway, you prob. knew that already


now, about what i said about usgard:
i know usgard's optimized.  and it's not poorly coded.  it's disorganized
because the standard version is just the lite version with stuff added on.
(duh)  i'm not against TSR's, i used to use TSR's before i really started
programming assembly.  i thought about using the vector table in usgard.  but
that'd pretty much kill every TSR installed.  i never said i was gonna make
that new shell/kernel, but it'd just be really cool, that's all.
