it seems like it's about the same speed. but the difference is that it's doing
more so it's actually faster.  it's running at 10 mhz while the ti85 is
running at 6 mhz.  they're two different processors too.  the ti85 has the z80
and the ti89 has the 68k.  they really can't be directly compared but the ti89
runs at a higher mhz.  it's like a pentium 233 compared to a pentium 300.
that's the difference, just the numbers.  it does a ton more, costs about $60
more, has a ton more memory (about 500k compared to the 28k on the ti85).
it's definately worth the extra bucks.  plus:  it's upgradable software with
flash rom.  it's like it's running dos now and as soon as ti.com can make an
upgrade it'll be like you're stepping up a level, say, to windows 3.1 or
something.  so that's nice too.
