Well, no.  There is no forwards-compatibility (as new Usgard versions add
new features).

Excepting Usgard 1.5 and 1.6.  The program headers are identical, and I have
run some simple 1.6 programs that I wrote on Usgard 1.5.  However, you can't
run 1.5 programs on, say, 1.0.  Indeed, Usgard 1.5 is smaller than 1.0 (and
1.6 will be smaller still!).  The only reason that one might possible *want*
to run 1.1 is for WinShell.

The default 1.0 and 1.1 shells will not recognize 1.5 programs.
