A85: YAHOO VIRUS: I hope it gets launched.

or not...

Win95 takes up so much memory because the programmers that work there are
a bunch of fat ass pigs that don't know what the hell they're doing.
when i look at Windows95, i'm always reminded of how i could write a
piece of crap ten times better in basic. they spend too much time adding
special effects that no one notices (like the hidden game in Excel, the
text messages in their 3D text screen saver) when they could be spending
their time debugging and optimizing their programs that are the
equivalent to me taking a crap on a CD and selling it to someone for
$90+. i would never have gone to Windows95 if Microsoft didn't own the
OS market. if you've ever taken the time to perfect multitasking, you'll
also see that this takes up a lot of memory. i can understand them
trying, but i really doubt that the average home user needs to have 40
files all running at the same time.

now i shall bash the media:
the media is too stupid to understand DOS anyway, a monkey could learn
DOS before them people. they see DOS and think "he knows Spanish, good
for him."

last, but not least, the similarly stupid public:
if people actually made backups as suggested (even Microsoft is smart
enough to create TSRs that prompt you to save your work) we wouldn't have
to worry about losing data and all that important stuff. i am always
prepared for something like this, i have access to everything i need and
i keep it somewhere not on my computer. i've only found one virus on my
computer and it hadn't been run, but i didn't care because i could delete
my harddrive right now and i would lose next to nothing, and that little
bit i would lose was probably stupid e-mail or something i really didn't
need anyway. if you have a response to this e-mail me personally, i'm
tired of this stupid message "Re: A92: IMPORTANT: YAHOO VIRUS"
continually crapping on my harddrive.

to sum things up:
quit your whining, Microsoft and the press suck, viruses happen, make
backups, and the world lives in perfect harmony. yeah right. this is
common sense stuff people, you guys really need help if you can't get
over something this silly within a few days.
