Why not just go to Digi-Key and BUY a Super-Twist BLLCD? They sell
them for about $40 - $50. I'm sure some one could find one there
that would be compatible with the 85's display drivers; they have
tons of LCDs... :)
Plus you could probablly hook the backlights up to the calc's power
supply so that the LEDs would only light when the calc was on...
