Which routine do you mean... teh one which actually draws teh menu or 
teh one taht creates a system menu?
Just for interests sake, doea anyone here remember the first version 
of the emulator taht couldn't draw menu's properly? well the reason 
was thaty the z80 core couldn't copw with negative IX/IY offsets and 
the menu draw routine uses a negativ'y index'd IX register a lot 
(the menu data is passed on the stack and then IX is loaded with teh stack 
address and used to access the data)
