Erm, StarOffice doesn't contain WordPerfect...

OpenOffice is the Open Source variant of StarOffice. It basicaly contains
the same things, but it's free. There are some good articles about the
diffs floating around on the Web

Then there's also the possibility of using a Windows emulator (WINE,
Win4Lin, CossOver Office) or even VMware (you should try that, only if you
have a decent amount of RAM installed). Google around to find out about
each of them.

Most modern distro's contain a preconfigured WINE package.
