Wouldn't that cause AOL to be forced to put "Warning: Use of this product will cause deafness." labels on all their products then? Wait... Nevermind, first off, you can't go deaf because of the silence on the line, and any punctured eardrums that the AOL users would have would just be stretched by the cord into their empty skulls...
