Hmm, I'd hardly call two bytes copyrighted, that's like saying you have
copyright on the word "earth" <place any word you like>

But, after reading half of the thread, I got the idea that the main problem
was the DMCA prohibiting someone from giving informatie that could lead to
copyright infringement, or something like that.
Then why not let someone in a non-DMCA country (to my knowledge, that'd be
any country but the USA) go public with the secret?
I doubt TI could do anything if say "Pietje Puk from Holland" or "Achmed
Avci from Turkey" (sorry if I misspelled the last country) would go public
with it.
Or is there more to it?
