could someone explain to me how to access data in this form (see below) 
.Specifically i was wondering how to change individual cells.

data:
  .db 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8
  .db 9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16

I have read through the source code on some programs and have a rough 
understanding, but i would like a bit of help. Thanks in advance :)
