[A83] Re: Malloc




It might not be too difficult to recreate TISCO so that it would be more
customizeable -- the unfortunate thing about it was all of the data was
internal to the program. It uses only a subset of C, but it does allow
structs and recursion, and I usually found it to work quite well. Making as
many variables as possible global seemed to make it produce some pretty nice
code indeed (not as good as optimized assembly, obviously -- but it only had
a few extra instructions). If the register keyword was to be added, I think
it would work even better.

Oh, yes that's also why I regret that Nuno Joao went away, at least I
couldn't track him anywhere on the internet... I even send mails to all
Nuno Joao's I could find, but nobody returned anything.
