[A83] Re: Cerebrus?

Here's a paste from ti83plus.inc
kExtApps EQU 058h ; External Applications. NEW
kNewApps EQU 059h ; New Apps for Cerberus.

I asked TI a while back about that, and I got an answer that Cerberus was
the code-name for the TI-83 Plus, and that TI used to like to use
mythological names for code-names.

Anyhow, I suspect that the TI-83 Plus and TI-83 Plus Silver Edition are
considered the same calculator, with a different hardware version (like
hardware 1 and 2 TI-89's). You'll notice in the ID numbers, they both have
the same calculator type (04), but that the Silver Edition as a 1 instead of
a 0 for the hardware type.
