Yes, your problem is "probably" due to a bad rom-dump.
try getting that done.
As for getting screen shots, there is another way, that is, directly on the
calculator!!!
yes, well the limitation is that you have to have MirageOS, with the tasker
running(check in the options screen for this), and of course your program
has to run under MirageOS.
here are the steps to doing it:
1) create enough PIC files using StorePic X, for the screenshots you want.
2) Run MirageOS and execute your program.
3) Play it! (you said it was a game!)
4) when you want your screenshot taken, press and keep pressed the [On]
button. Now press a number on the keypad corresponding to the PICX file.
1=Pic1, 2=Pic2 ... 0=Pic0
5) Now transfer the files using your TI-Graphlink, or equivalent, and use
any of the utilities at www.ticalc.org archives that let you open ti-83(+)
picture file..
Now you have your screenshots...
