I don't know, but I would be supprised if it was anything else then static.
Static is easier to design the circuit board for, and requires less power 
to run.
specially when the calc is off, when it only needs very little power to 
keep its contents.
Dynamic has to be constantly updated wich requires a lot of power and more 
advanced hardware.
