[A83] interrupt call

How can I make a call inside my interrupt routine?
Inside I check for 2nd + off and APD. If so my
password program starts. But calling inside an interrupt
gives problems.
(Could somebody also give me a good piece of code with
that APD checking? I saw a few but they don't seem to work)
