A83: All Sorts...

Hey!

Ill try and be short and sweet - (like expensive chocolate?)

Im on holiday (sort off) and C++ is just not 'happining' so
its back to Z80 land.

I dont really want to write anouther 'flick-scroll' type game - (you,
know the ones?;) so....pastures new?

Well, not really, Just want to play with things....

So, can anyone help in any of the following:

*How to send a byte (or bit?) from calc A to calc B through assembly.
And, more important, how to test this with one calc!
Can you use an emulator to debug / run communication programs?
Either by Calc to PC or pherps PC to PC (with multitasking)

Despite my large collection of TI-83 stuff, i couldent find a single two
player game / program to try this out...

(achually (hee. its tommorow now) i just tried this...I think CalcEMU is
no good. The Dos ones seem hopefull...But the documentation has
me thrown. Also i appear to only have versions i downlaoded about
a year ago...ver 0.2! and such. So....Url for newer stuff?)

*Memory: How to increase the size of a program by one byte?
How to 'Open up space in ram'...SoS must do this?
Achually, is there a commented SoS source out there, that
would probally do...

Compression (somthing i seem to remember saying 'good idea' to)
sounds like fun. But without knowing how to enlarge / shrink programs,
open space in ram and so on....Well, Not Easy!

(Achually, maybe one more flick-scroll game;)

Cheers Guys (Gals?),
