A83: ROM Dump Problem (Not directly reated to ASM)
I have a problem: I can't get my TI-83 rom
dump to work. I am using WIN95 with
W32tran8x and the following files:
ROM83.83p, Virtual TI for the emulation,
DUMPXP.exe
Virtual TI reports that my rom dump
is actually a TI-86 rom, v. 6.2, and I could understand this because the TI-86
rom file is also 256K in size. However, I do not think it is the VTI's
fault since CalcEm also refuses to accept my ROM file.
The reason that I want to emulate the
calculator is in case my ASM program crashes. There, I connected my
problem with ASM. Back to the problem: of course I realize that it
is illegal to send ROMs to anyone, but by this time it's clear that I own a
TI-83 and therefore have the right to own the ROM file. I even know how to
check the version by pushing mode-s, which tells me it is 1.070000. Now,
can anyone either tell me how to fix the problem, or send me the ROM file for
the TI-83?
