A83: RE: COMPUTER WARS

If you are a Macintosh owner, you should read the following text for hints about Macintosh maintenance.

1.) Do not EVER use the motorised disk eject feature; it will soon wear out the motor. Instead use a screwdriver, or knife.
2.) When shutting down the system, simply unplug it at the power point, don't worry about switching if off!
3.) When taking the Mac plug out of the power socket, always pull it by the chord.
4.) When there is no disk in the disk drive, to avoid dust getting in the disk drive, stuff a slice of peanut butter toast in it.
5.) To clean the mouse, take out the mouse ball and slag in it.
6.) To clean those hard to reach keyboard parts, pour water directly on it...with the power still on, ofcourse.
7.) Did you know that you can turn 700K PC disks into 1.44 Mb disks by drilling a hole in it? (It's true.)
You can do the same thing to a Mac harddrive by simply shooting it!
8.) Improve screen contrast...throw a brick through it.
9.) No, how about you just trash the Mac and buy a decent PC?
10.) And I mean REALLY trash the mac.
