Seems a bit overkill even by my standards<g>.

maybe you could make a fake frontscreen like a hello world prog and it'll
on;y finish loading K-Edit if you hold down a defined # of keys at one
time or if you press X amount of keys in a certain order, else it'll drop
to ASH-Shell.
