RE: A82: TI-82 Shell

Well, to demonstrate the power (and bugginess) of a GUI, get an 83 and try Aurora. It's a good GUI, although 95ish, and is for the most part pretty stable. However, it plays with the stat Vars area of memory, making it a bit hairy. This is usually only a problem if a program bombs out, dumping you at the TI-OS prompt, and some pretty hairy stat menus (the icons disappear).
But it works :)

Please, no. How will yoou implement the mouse, years of attempts at mouse
emulation by NES progs proved that a mouse by arrow keys is more trouble
than it's worth. Also, the calc has limited enough resources, why waste them
on a GUI? isn't the Ash/Oshell menu system simple enough? Besides, with
Ash Oshell and Jass, we have enough shells.
