I agree that one really good shell is the est thing to have, but anyone how
wants can just make their own if they feel like it. The problem with
multiple shells should be solved when the new shell comes. It is a mess with
all the different shells for the TI85, as i see it there are two groups of
shells one which tries to be small like OS7, and which tries to have more
features (Usgard). Because the assembly language programs on the TI82 are
started differently than on the TI85, it should however be possible to have
one shell which could be small if the user wanted it, or have a lot of
features if that was what the user wanted. Even if we succed in doing this
there will however always be the possibility that some one will make one
more (i know the XCalc is supposed to be for the TI82 too, but the questions
is if they will succed). I do no think that games is the only important
think for a calc, good programs could be nice too.
