A82: Ash or Oshell? Q?

I congratulate everybody who had a part in the development of machine
code access to the TI-82.

There are two shells, ASH and OSHELL.

I am wondering if these two shells can coexist on the one calculator,
thus making the TI-82 compatible with both sorts of assembly shells.

I am also wondering about the specific details about the bug that the
Oshell developers are availing themselves of. It seems to centre around
the Q real variable. I would like to know, why Q?

Please reply.

SHADOW, your fellow TI-82 enthusiast.
